WE ALWAYS NEED VOLUNTEERS!!  We're always looking for 18-or over responsible, consistent, energetic, friendly and self-motivated individuals to help out. Our new shelter has created a significant need for help in the daily care of our homeless animals. We are in the process of scheduling shelter volunteer training sessions and are looking for people who can commit to various shifts of feeding, walking and socializing the animals. We want our animals to be smothered with love and attention by our volunteers until we can find them all a new mommy and/or daddy to take over. We also need shelter helpers who can assist with the daily domestic chores.

If working with the animals at the shelter isn't your interest, we certainly have many other

volunteer needs in the areas of TRANSPORTATION, ADOPTION EVENTS, FUNDRAISING, HELPING OUR WEBMASTER, FOSTERING, MARKETING, PHOTOGRAPHY, HELPING TO SHOVEL SHOW, HELPING WITH GROUNDS IN THE SUMMER,SENDING OUT OUR EMAILS TO YOUR FRIENDS, PASSING OUT FLYERS IN YOUR AREA. There are so many, many ways you can help! Just let us know what you’re interested in doing - every little thing helps!  COME VOLUNTEER WITH US, FIND YOUR NICHE AND EXPERIENCE THE JOY OF HELPING HOMELESS

TO BECOME PART OF OUR SHELTER VOLUNTEER TEAM, WORKING WITH THE ANIMALS, ETC., you will need to:

• love animals and want to help them
• be 18 years of age or older
• complete a volunteer application and waiver
• attend a volunteer orientation/training session
• pledge to be a stable presence in our animals’ lives by maintaining a 6-month commitment
